As a benevolent gesture toward women’s empowerment, the Finance Dept. of the Central Govt has introduced the Stand-Up India scheme to set up industrial units by women entrepreneurs and the youth belonging to the SC/ST category. It is a novel scheme initially extending the credit support ranging from 10 lakh to 10 million.

In Dharwad parliamentary Constituency total of Rs. 67.11 Crore fund has been released towards 307 beneficiaries.
