The very purpose of launching the Pradhana Mantri Matru Vandana Scheme is to ensure improvement in the health condition of pregnant women. During the period of pregnancy total of Rs. 5,000 per woman is released in three installments. First installment of Rs. 1,000/- after the fifth month of conception. The second installment is Rs. 2,000/- on medical check ups for necessary vaccinations and the last installment of Rs. 2,000/- production of a B.C.G instilled certificate of the child born. If the female baby is delivered an additional amount of Rs. 1,000/- will be given as a special incentive.

In Dharwad, a Parliamentary Constituency total of 34.15 Crores has been released towards 1,90,191 women beneficiaries.

ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಮಂತ್ರಿ ಮಾತೃ ವಂದನಾ ಯೋಜನೆ

ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಮಂತ್ರಿ ಮಾತೃ ವಂದನಾ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಉದ್ದೇಶವೇ ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಯರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸುಧಾರಿಸುವುದು. DBT ಮೂಲಕ ನೇರವಾಗಿ ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ೩ ಕಂತುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಯರಿಗೆ ೫,೦೦೦ ರೂಪಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ, ಅಂದರೇ ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಯಾಗಿ ೫ ತಿಂಗಳ ನಂತರ ೧,೦೦೦ ರೂಪಾಯಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಎರಡನೇ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿ ವೈದ್ಯರ ತಂಡದಿಂದ  ತಪಾಸಣೆಯಾದನಂತರ ಮತ್ತು ಅಗತ್ಯ ಚುಚ್ಚು ಮದ್ದುಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ೨,೦೦೦ ರೂಪಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಮಗು ಜನಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ BCG ಲಸಿಕೆ ಹಾಕಿಸಿದ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಾಗ ೨,೦೦೦ ರೂಪಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಗು ಜನಿಸಿದರೆ ಈ ಮೊತ್ತ ೬೦೦೦ ರೂಪಾಯಿಗಳು ದೊರೆಯುತ್ತದೆ.
