Another step towards women’s empowerment

With the noble purpose of safeguarding the health of rural mothers and providing them with clean fuel, the Shri. Narendra Modi Government, with the tagline ‘Swachha Indhan Behtar Jeevan,’ has launched the PMUY scheme. In the Dharwad Parliamentary constituency, in the first phase, 94,743 connections were provided, and in the second stage, 11,314 connections were given, totaling 1,06,057 LPG gas cylinder connections under the scheme. Additionally, under CSR activities with an expenditure of Rs. 22 lakh, 2,000 beneficiaries have been provided with cooking ovens.

ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಮಂತ್ರಿ ಉಜ್ವಲ ಯೋಜನೆ

ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರ ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ತಾಯಂದಿರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ವೃದ್ಧಿಸುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಅಡುಗೆ ಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಗೆ ಮುಕ್ತಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಮಹಾನ್ ಉದ್ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಈ ಯೋಜನೆ ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ಧಾರವಾಡ ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಜ್ವಲ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಮೊದಲ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿ ೯೪,೭೪೩ ಸಿಲಿಂಡರಗಳನ್ನು, ಎರಡನೇ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿ ೧೧,೩೧೪ ಸಿಲಿಂಡರಗಳನ್ನು, ಒಟ್ಟು ೧,೦೬,೦೫೭ ಗ್ಯಾಸ್ ಸಂಪರ್ಕಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಸಿ.ಎಸ್.ಆರ್ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಯಡಿ ೨೨ ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ೨೦೦೦ ಉಜ್ವಲ ಫಲಾನುಭವಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಡುಗೆ ಒಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
