This scheme has been introduced since the year 2016 to help financially distressed farmers who sustain unanticipated crop damage or losses. Being a voluntary insurance scheme, farmers who grow agricultural and horticultural crops can secure insurance coverage under this scheme for crops grown during both the rabi and summer periods. Revised Weather-based Crop Insurance has been separated from this scheme. It is optional for farmers who do not avail of loan facilities. Modi government has credited an insurance claim amount of Rs. 1,239.35 Crore under this scheme through 9,47,516 farmer’s accounts in the Dharwad parliamentary constituency.

ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಮಂತ್ರಿ ಫಸಲ್ ಬಿಮಾ ಯೋಜನೆ

ಅನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿತ ಘಟನೆಗಳಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾಗುವ ಬೆಳೆ ನಷ್ಟ / ಬೆಳೆ ಹಾನಿ ಅನುಭವಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ರೈತರಿಗೆ ವಿಮೆ ನೆರವು ನೀಡುವ ಯೋಜನೆ ಇದಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಸನ್ ೨೦೧೬ ರಿಂದ ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲ ರೈತರಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಯಂಪ್ರೇರಿತವಾಗಿ ಜಾರಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಲಾಭ ಪಡೆಯಲು ರೈತರು ಮುಂಗಾರು ಮತ್ತು ಹಿಂಗಾರು ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ, ತಾವು ಬೆಳೆದ ಕೃಷಿ ಹಾಗೂ ತೋಟಗಾರಿಕೆ ಬೆಳೆಗಳನ್ನು ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಗೆ ಒಳಪಡಿಸಬಹುದು. ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಷ್ಕೃತ ಹವಾಮಾನ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಬೆಳೆ ವಿಮಾ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಸಾಲ ಪಡೆಯದ ರೈತರಿಗೆ ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯು ಐಚ್ಚಿಕವಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಧಾರವಾಡ ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೋದಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ಈ ಯೋಜನೆ ಅಡಿ, ಒಟ್ಟು ೯,೪೭,೫೧೬ ರೈತರ ಖಾತೆಗಳಿಗೆ ೧,೨೩೯.೩೫ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಜಮೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆ.
