This insurance yojana was launched in 2015 by the central government. The scheme is yearly renewable and provides death coverage for the beneficiary. This scheme aims to enhance the spirit of inclusive growth among the poor and the backward classes with the vision of “Sab Ka Sath, Sab Ka Vikas”.

A total of 5,50,149 beneficiaries in the Dharwad Lok Sabha constituency have been insured under the scheme.

ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಮಂತ್ರಿ ಜೀವನ್ ಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಬಿಮಾ ಯೋಜನೆ

ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ ಸನ್ ೨೦೧೫ ರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾದ ಈ ವಿಮಾ ಯೋಜನೆಯು ಫಲಾನುಭವಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವರ್ಷದಿಂದ ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ನವೀಕರಿಸಬಹುದಾದ ಮರಣದ ಕವರೇಜ್ ಅನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. “ಸಬ್ ಕಾ ಸಾಥ್, ಸಬ್ ಕಾ ವಿಕಾಸ್” ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬಡವರು ಮತ್ತು ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ವರ್ಗದವರ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯ ಸ್ಪೂರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವ ಯೋಜನೆ ಇದಾಗಿದ್ದು ಧಾರವಾಡ ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಒಟ್ಟು ೫,೫೦,೧೪೯ ಫಲಾನುಭವಿಗಳನ್ನು ಈ ಯೋಜನೆ ಅಡಿ ವಿಮೆಗೆ ಒಳಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
