Pradhan Mantri Employment Guarantee Programme has been introduced by Shri. Modi Govt. to provide employment opportunities to traditional artisans, and rural and urban unemployed youth of above 18 years. The eligible youth can avail of loan facilities from the banks under this scheme for self-employment purposes ranging from 5 lakh to 25 lakh with subsidy provision.

In Dharwad parliamentary constituency Rs. 44 Crore loan facility has been extended to 975 borrowers.

ಸ್ವಯಂ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದ ಯೋಜನೆ ಇದಾಗಿದೆ. ಸ್ವಯಂ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಹ ೧೮ ವರ್ಷ ತುಂಬಿದವರಿಗೆ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಆರಂಭಿಸಲು ೫ ಲಕ್ಷದಿಂದ ೨೫ ಲಕ್ಷದ ವರೆಗೆ ಸಬ್ಸಿಡಿ ಸಹಿತ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ ಸಾಲದ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
