To overcome the malnutrition and nutritional problems affecting children, adolescent girls pregnant women and lactating mothers of the country, the Central Govt. has came out with the Poshan Abhiyan Scheme. It reflects the care and concerns of the Central Govt. and especially that of Shri. Narendra Modi towards achieving improvement in key nutrition parameters.

In Dharwad Parliamentary constituency 1,24,116 persons have benefited under this scheme to the extent of Rs. 1.33 Crore

ಪೋಷಣ್ ಅಭಿಯಾನ

ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಮತ್ತು ನಗರಗಳ ಹೆಣ್ಣುಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ದೈನಂದಿನ ಆಹಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಪೋಷಕಾಂಶಗಳು ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಅವರ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ಕುಂಠಿತವಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರಕಾರವು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರ ಕಾಳಜಿಯ ಪ್ರತೀಕವಾಗಿ ಈ ಯೋಜನೆ ಜಾರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಮಕ್ಕಳು, ಹದಿಹರೆಯದ ಬಾಲಕಿಯರು, ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಹಾಲುಣಿಸುವ ತಾಯಂದಿರಲ್ಲಿ ಪೌಷ್ಟಿಕಾಂಶ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶ ಹೊಂದಿದೆ.
