The development of horticulture and increasing the production of all varieties of horticulture crops (fruits, vegetables, flowers, spices, and medicinal plants) is the utmost priority of Modi government. Farmers can avail basic facilities under this scheme for individual farm ponds, community farm ponds, poly houses, pack houses, greenhouses, shelter curtains, onion storage units, fruit ripening units, seed processing, etc. In Dharwad parliamentary constituency, around 7,241 farmers have benefited under this scheme, with Rs. 13.56 Crores spent by the Central Government on this account.

ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ತೋಟಗಾರಿಕೆ ಮಿಷನ್

ತೋಟಗಾರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪಡಿಸುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲ ರೀತಿಯ ತೋಟಗಾರಿಕಾ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳ (ಹಣ್ಣು, ತರಕಾರಿ, ಹೂವು, ಮಸಾಲೆ ಪದಾರ್ಥ, ಹಾಗೂ ಔಷಧೀಯ ಸಸ್ಯಗಳ) ಉತ್ಪಾದನೆಯನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಮೋದಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಉದ್ದೇಶವಾಗಿದೆ. ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಕೃಷಿ ಹೊಂಡ, ಸಮುದಾಯ ಕೃಷಿ ಹೊಂಡ, ಪಾಲಿ-ಹೌಸ್, ಪ್ಯಾಕ್-ಹೌಸ್, ಹಸಿರು ಮನೆ, ನೆರಳು ಪರದೆ, ಈರುಳ್ಳಿ ಶೇಖರಣ ಘಟಕ, ಹಣ್ಣು ಮಾಗಿಸುವ ಘಟಕ, ಬೀಜ ಸಂಸ್ಕರಣ ಇತ್ಯಾದಿ ಮೂಲ ಸೌಕರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ರೈತರು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಪಡೆಯಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ.
