Shri. Modi’s concept of Nandghar is to create a homely environment for the children and a special identification for Angawadi Centres. Every child participating at these centres is being looked up to as a Shri Krishna and the assistant worker as the Mother Yashodha. Nandghar Anganwadi centres provide children with nutritional supplements and pre-primary education. The centres will have all the requisite facilities like toilet, drinking water, power supply, meeting hall and store room as well

In the Dharwad parliamentary constituency with the help of several companies, all 90 anganwadi centers have been developed and 16 anganwadi centers have been replaced with newly constructed and furnished buildings they are named as “Nandghar”.

ಸನ್ಮಾನ್ಯ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿಜಿ ರವರ ನಂದಘರ್ ಪರಿಕಲ್ಪನೆಯು ಅಂಗನವಾಡಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟವಾದ ಗುರುತನ್ನು ನೀಡುವ ಗುರಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಾಜರಾಗುವ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ‘ಶ್ರೀ ಕೃಷ್ಣ’ ಎಂದೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಾಯಕಿಯರನ್ನು ಮಾತಾ ಯಶೋಧಾ ಅಂತಾ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಸದರಿ ನಂದಘರ್ ಅಂಗನವಾಡಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಪೂರಕ ಪೌಷ್ಟಿಕಾಂಶ ಮತ್ತು ಪೂರ್ವ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದು ಈ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೌಚಾಲಯ, ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರು, ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ, ಸಭಾಂಗಣ, ಅಡುಗೆ ಕೋಣೆ ಶೇಖರಣ ಕೊಠಡಿಗಳ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿವೆ. ಧಾರವಾಡ ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ೯೦ ಶಿಥಿಲಾವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಅಂಗನವಾಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪುನರುಜ್ಜೀವನಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ನೂತನವಾಗಿ ಸುಸಜ್ಜಿತ ೧೬ ನಂದಘರ ಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವಿಧ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳ ಸಹಕಾರದೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
