After 2014, Shri. Narendra Modi’s Government at the centre has been striving hard towards the care and safety of the health of pregnant and lactating mothers. Janani Suraksha and Mathru Purna are special schemes of the Central Government that take care of the safety of pregnant and lactating mothers during the pre and post-delivery period. The specialty of these schemes lies in their successful implementation, ensuring that the benefits reach the beneficiaries directly. The motto of the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Scheme is to ensure and maintain constant check-ups on the health and safety of pregnant women and lactating mothers, providing them with delivery allowances as well. In our Dharwad parliamentary constituency, 1,29,403 mothers have been provided with delivery allowances totaling Rs. 8.57 Crore.

೨೦೧೪ ರ ನಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಣಂತಿಯರ ಮತ್ತು ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಯರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದ ಮೇಲೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಕಾಳಜಿ ವಹಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿಜಿ ಅವರ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಅವಿರತವಾಗಿ ಶ್ರಮಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಪ್ರಸವ ಪೂರ್ವ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಸವ ನಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ ತಾಯಂದಿರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಪೂರಕವಾಗಿರುವ ವಿಶೇಷ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳಾದ ಜನನಿ ಸುರಕ್ಷಾ ಯೋಜನೆ & ಮಾತೃಪೂರ್ಣ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳು ಸಮರ್ಪಕವಾಗಿ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನಗೊಂಡು ಅರ್ಹ ಫಲಾನುಭವಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನೇರವಾಗಿ ತಲುಪಿರುವುದು ಮಹತ್ವದ ಸಂಗತಿ. ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸುರಕ್ಷಾ ಯೋಜನೆ – ಹೆರಿಗೆ ಭತ್ಯೆ, ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿ ಮಹಿಳೆಯ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದ ಮಾಹಿತಿ, ಆರೋಗ್ಯದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿರಂತರ ನಿಗಾವಹಿಸುವುದು ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಉದ್ದೇಶವಾಗಿದೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಧಾರವಾಡ ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲಿಯವರೆಗೆ ೧,೨೯,೪೦೩ ತಾಯಂದಿರು ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ೮.೫೭ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಹೆರಿಗೆ ಭತ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಮಂತ್ರಿ ಮಾತೃ ಪೂರ್ಣ ಯೋಜನೆ – ಗರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮಗುವಿನ ಉತ್ತಮ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗಾಗಿ ಪೂರಕವಾದ ಪೌಷ್ಟಿಕ ಆಹಾರ ವಿತರಣೆಯ ಉದ್ದೇಶದ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಯೋಜನೆ ಇದಾಗಿದೆ.
