India highlighted the importance of millets at the United Nations and with the support of 72 countries, the UN declared the year 2023 as the International Year of Millets.

ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ  ಸಿರಿಧಾನ್ಯ ವರ್ಷ ೨೦೨೩

ಭಾರತವು ವಿಶ್ವಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿರಿಧಾನ್ಯದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಸಿರಿಧಾನ್ಯ ವರ್ಷವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲು ೭೨ ದೇಶಗಳ ಬೆಂಬಲದೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಿಶ್ವಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ೨೦೨೩ನೆಯ ವರ್ಷವನ್ನು ಅಂತರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸಿರಿಧಾನ್ಯ ವರ್ಷವೆಂದು ಘೋಷಿಸಿತು.
