The Central Govt. under India Smart Cities Programme Initiative constituted several awards to create an awareness amongst the citizens and to encourage environmental protection and maintenance of clean cities. We proudly claim that Our Hubballi city has been able to bag the first rank in country’s prestigious yearly National Award for the year 2022 under the best Green Mobility Corridor division.

Near Rani Chennamma bridge of Lingrajnagar, 9.25 Kms long first Green Mobility corridor has been created involving the expenditure of Rs. 130 Crores. The project encompasses the Unkal lake, it’s joining water streams and the connecting drainages. Under the project the contaminated water in the drainage is being processed for reutilisation.

A decade ago the Unkal lake was a source of water for agricultural activities and also for the drinking purposes. Whereas now with the Green Mobility Corridor it has enhanced the beauty of the city and has been transformed into a place of tourism.

CONSTRUCTIONS OF ROAD AND CEMENT DRAINAGES

Under Smart City Programme with the plan outlay of Rs. 2,965 Crores expenditure by accommodating totally 8.28 Kms of long road, 76 Kms of long Cement water drainage and with the installation of 1,926 electric poles it has opened up the whole vistas of basic facilities in all the prominent areas of the city.

CONSTRUCTION OF HOSPITAL

Under Smart City Programme the Poor men’s life saving Chitaguppi Hospital has been constructed with the expenditure of Rs. 24.41 Crore, in Hubballi City and Rs. 3.71 Crores has been spent on the construction of Medar Street Hospital.

CONSTRUCTION OF LARGE SPORTS COMPLEX

To give fillip to the sports activities of the youth in a spacious 15 acres of land at Murajinagar Hubballi, construction work of a large sports complex is going on with full speed with a plan outlay expenditure of Rs. 166 Crores. Nehru sports ground situated in the heart of Hubballi city has been developed with all the modern sports facilities by spending Rs. 19.11 Crore.

DEVELOPMENT OF TOLANAKERE

The 31 acres of Tolanakeri of Hubballi has been developed with a total expenditure of Rs. 14.37 Crore, by furnishing 10 acres of land with beautiful garden along with 2.2 kms length of walking path.

DEVELOPEMENT OF MAHATMA GANDHI PARK

Unakal Lake has been scientifically developed at a cost of Rs. 33.36 crore It is 4.8 kms. Includes a long walking (walking) pathway.

DEVELOPMENT OF MARKETS

The traditional markets in our Hubli city have turned into smart ones, bringing smiles to the faces of all sections of the city’s people and retailers. Bengeri Market 5.90 crore rupees, Janata Bazaar Rs. 18.61 crore, Unakal Market Rs. 1.46 crore, Fish Market Rs 5.60 crore were developed.

OLD BUS STAND DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

The renovation work of the Hubballi city old bus stand involving an expenditure of Rs. 24.16 Crores, has been in progress at full speed.

DEVELOPMENT OF BASIC AMENITIES

With an outlay of Rs. 14.19 Crore development works in respect of Smart Schools, Smart Health, Waste Disposal units, Bicycle sharing and similar such activities are being undertaken. 

ಸ್ಮಾರ್ಟ್ ಸಿಟಿ ಯೋಜನೆ

೨೦೨೨ರ ಸಾಲಿನ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಸ್ಮಾರ್ಟ್ ಸಿಟಿಸ್ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗಳ ಅವಿಷ್ಕಾರ ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಬ್ಬಳ್ಳಿಯ – ಹಸಿರು ಸಂಚಾರಿ ಪಥಕ್ಕೆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಸ್ಥಾನ ದೊರಕಿದೆ. ಲಿಂಗರಾಜನಗರದ ಹತ್ತಿರದ ರಾಣಿ ಚೆನ್ನಮ್ಮನಗರದ ಸೇತುವೆ ಬಳಿ ಮೊದಲ ಹಸಿರು ಸಂಚಾರಿ ಪಥವನ್ನು ೧೩೦ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ವೆಚ್ಛದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಇದು ೯.೨೫ ಕಿ.ಮಿ. ಉದ್ದವಾಗಿದೆ. ಉಣಕಲ್ ಕೆರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಸೇರುವ ಹಳ್ಳ ಹಾಗೂ ಒಳಚರಂಡಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಈ ಯೋಜನೆ ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ ಚರಂಡಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿ ಕಲುಪಿತ ನೀರನ್ನು ಸಂಸ್ಕರಿಸಿ ಪುನರ್ ಬಳಕೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ದಶಕಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಕೃಷಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರಿಗೆ ಮೂಲವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಉಣಕಲ್ ಕೆರೆಯು ಈಗ ಹಸಿರು ಸಂಚಾರಿ ಪಥದ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಗರದ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯವನ್ನು ವೃದ್ಧಿಸಿದ್ದಲ್ಲದೇ ಪ್ರವಾಸೋದ್ಯಮ ತಾಣವಾಗಿ ಪರಿವರ್ತನೆಗೊಂಡಿದೆ.

ರಸ್ತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಿ.ಸಿ. ಚರಂಡಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ

ಸ್ಮಾರ್ಟ ಸಿಟಿ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿ ೨,೯೬೫ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ನಗರದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟು ೮.೨೮ ಕಿ.ಮೀ ರಸ್ತೆ, ೭೬ ಕಿ.ಮೀ ಉದ್ದದ ಸಿ.ಸಿ. ಚರಂಡಿ ಹಾಗೂ ೧೯೨೬ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಕಂಬಗಳನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಿ ನಗರದ ಮೂಲಭೂತ ಸೌಕರ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೊಸ ಆಯಾಮ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ

ಸ್ಮಾರ್ಟ ಸಿಟಿ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿ ಹುಬ್ಬಳ್ಳಿ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಡಜನರ ಸಂಜೀವಿನಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಚಿಟಗುಪ್ಪಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ೨೪.೪೧ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಮೇದಾರ ಓಣಿಯ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾಲಯವನ್ನು ೩.೭೧ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಬೃಹತ್ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಸಮುಚ್ಛಯ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ

ಹುಬ್ಬಳ್ಳಿ ನಗರದ ಯುವ ಜನರ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಉತ್ಸಾಹಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಸ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಲು ಮುರಾರ್ಜಿ ನಗರದ ೧೫ ಎಕರೆ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ೧೬೬ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ವೆಚ್ಚದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬೃಹತ್ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಸಮುಚ್ಚಯವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುವ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಭರದಿಂದ ಸಾಗಿದೆ. ಹುಬ್ಬಳ್ಳಿಯ ಹೃದಯಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನೆಹರು ಮೈದಾನವನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆಧುನಿಕ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ೧೯.೧೧ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ವೆಚ್ಚದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ತೋಳನಕೆರೆ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ

ನಮ್ಮ ಹುಬ್ಬಳ್ಳಿಯ ತೋಳನಕೆರೆಯ ೩೧ ಎಕರೆ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ೨.೨ ಕಿ.ಮೀ. ವಾಕಿಂಗ್ ಪಾಥ್, ೧೦ ಎಕರೆಯ ಉದ್ಯಾನವನವನ್ನು ಆಧುನಿಕ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ೧೪.೩೭ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಮಹಾತ್ಮಾ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಉದ್ಯಾನವನದ ಆಧುನೀಕರಣ

ಮಹಾತ್ಮ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಉದ್ಯಾನವನದ ೨೨೦ ಚ.ಮೀ. ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಣ್ಣದ ಕಾರಂಜಿ, ಲೇಸರ್ ಶೋ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಇನ್ನತರ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಿದ್ದು ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ರೂ ೧೦.೫೫ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ವೆಚ್ಚ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಉಣಕಲ್ ಕೆರೆ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ

ಉಣಕಲ್ ಕೆರೆಯನ್ನು ೩೩.೩೬ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕವಾಗಿ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದು ಇದು ೪.೮ ಕಿ.ಮೀ. ಉದ್ದದ ವಾಕಿಂಗ್ (ವಾಯುವಿಹಾರ) ಪಾಥ್ ವೇ ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿದೆ.

ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಗಳ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ

ನಮ್ಮ ಹುಬ್ಬಳ್ಳಿ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಗಳು ಸ್ಮಾರ್ಟ ಆಗಿ ಬದಲಾಗಿದ್ದು ನಗರದ ಎಲ್ಲ ವರ್ಗದ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಲ್ಲರೆ ಮಾರಾಟಗಾರರ ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂದಹಾಸವನ್ನು ತರಿಸಿದೆ. ಬೆಂಗೇರಿ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ೫.೯೦ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ, ಜನತಾ ಬಜಾರ್ ೧೮.೬೧ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ, ಉಣಕಲ್ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ೧.೪೬ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ, ಮೀನು ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ೫.೬೦ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಹಳೆ ಬಸ್ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಯೋಜನೆ

ಹುಬ್ಬಳ್ಳಿ ನಗರದ ಹಳೆ ಬಸ್ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣವನ್ನು ರೂ. ೨೪.೧೬ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ಮರುನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಸದರ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಯು ಭರದಿಂದ ಸಾಗಿದೆ.

ಮೂಲ ಸೌಕರ್ಯಗಳ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ

ಸ್ಮಾರ್ಟ್ ಸ್ಕೂಲ್, ಸ್ಮಾರ್ಟ್ ಹೆಲ್ತ್, ಘನತಾಜ್ಯ ವಿಲೇವಾರಿ ಘಟಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಬೈಸಿಕಲ್ ಶೇರಿಂಗ್‌ನAತಹ ಇನ್ನಿತರ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ೧೪.೧೯ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ.
