A harbinger of transformation, PM Shri. Narendra Modi, sharing his perspective. One can witness that transformation is taking place in all spheres of activity in the country. By allocating a stream of grants towards the educational sector for various projects and their implementation, the scenery of the country has been transformed. The nation’s pride and prestigious educational institutions like the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) and Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIIT) have begun functioning in our Dharwad parliamentary constituency. Both IIT and IIIT have been located on the outskirts of Dharwad city, spanning a spacious 470 acres and 60 acres of land with investments of Rs. 852 Crore and Rs. 120 Crore respectively.

On the establishment of these two institutions at Dharwad, they have imprinted the name of our Karnataka state not only on the Educational Lokasabha Constituency, but also in the circle of educational institutions of the country as a whole. The children of our constituency need not go to a far place seeking higher education. Educationally now we are fully empowered.

ಧಾರವಾಡ ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಈಗ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಯುಗದ ಆರಂಭ

ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಈಗ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಬದಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ, ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳಡಿ ಭರಪೂರ ಅನುದಾನ, ನೀಡಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನದಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದ ಚಿತ್ರಣವನ್ನೇ ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಿದೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಧಾರವಾಡ ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇಶದ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಾದ ಭಾರತೀಯ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ (IIT) ಮತ್ತು ಭಾರತೀಯ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ (IIIT) ಈಗ ಕಾರ್ಯಾರಂಭ ಮಾಡಿವೆ. ಧಾರವಾಡದ ಹೊರವಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ೪೭೦ ಎಕರೆ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ೮೫೨ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತೀಯ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾದರೆ, ೬೦ ಎಕರೆ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ೧೨೦ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಎರಡು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಧಾರವಾಡ ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ್ದಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ದೇಶದ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ವಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಚ್ಚಾಗಿಸಿವೆ. ಇನ್ಮುಂದೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ದೂರ ದೂರಿನ ಊರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವ ಪ್ರಮೇಯವಿಲ್ಲ, ನಾವು ಈಗ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕವಾಗಿ ಸಧೃಢವಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ.
