Under the Prime Minister’s Higher Education Campaign (PM-USA), due to the personal interest and efforts of the Honorable Central Minister, Shri Pralhad Joshi, a grant of Rs. 20 Crore has been released from the Ministry of Higher Education to strengthen Karnataka University, Dharwad, the educational crown of Dharwad city. This enables it to offer multidisciplinary education and research capabilities to universities. Apart from the grant given by the Central Govt., various financial assistance from different Govt., semi-Govt., and several private industrial organizations has been utilized to fulfill their commitment towards Corporate Social Responsibility. Several social, educational, and developmental works have been undertaken in my Dharwad parliamentary constituency, the success of which can be attributed to the efforts of the Central Govt.

Under the Member of Parliament Model Village Programme, construction works of school buildings at Harobelavadi and Kabbenur villages of Dharwad Tq. have been completed with an expenditure of Rs. 2.84 Crore and Rs. 3.3 Crore respectively.

ಹಾರೋಬೆಳವಡಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕಬ್ಬೇನೂರು ಶಾಲೆಗಳು

ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಅನುದಾನವನ್ನು ಹೊರತುಪಡಿಸಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಸರಕಾರಿ, ಅರೆ ಸರಕಾರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಹಲವಾರು ಖಾಸಗಿ ಉದ್ಯಮಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯ ನೆರವಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಲವಾರು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ, ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ಅವೆಲ್ಲ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ‘ಸಂಸದರ ಆದರ್ಶ ಗ್ರಾಮ ಯೋಜನೆ’ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಧಾರವಾಡ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಹಾರೋಬೆಳವಡಿ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ೨.೮೪ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಲಾ ಕಟ್ಟಡ ಹಾಗೂ ಧಾರವಾಡ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಕಬ್ಬೇನೂರು ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ೩.೩೦ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಲಾ ಕಟ್ಟಡ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
