The usage of computers in the field of education is so intertwined that their utility has become an indispensable part of day-to-day functioning. To keep pace with the changing times and for the overall development of children, computers have been distributed to the Government Primary Schools, Higher Education Schools, and premier degree Colleges within the ambit of the Dharwad parliamentary constituency. To equip students with the necessary preparatory materials for their final examinations, every SSLC student of the Government Schools falling under the purview of the Dharwad Parliamentary constituency has been provided with the ‘Kashyap’ examination guide. Additionally, it is ensured that government libraries are furnished with 10,000 Competitive Examination Preparatory books.

ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಣಕಯಂತ್ರದ ಬಳಕೆ ಈಗ ಹಾಸುಹೊಕ್ಕಾಗಿದೆ, ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಅನುಗುಣವಾಗಿ ಸರ್ವತೋಮುಖವಾಗಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಪಡೆಯಬೇಕು ಎಂಬ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ವಿವಿಧ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳ ಸಹಕಾರದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಧಾರವಾಡ ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ, ಪ್ರೌಢಶಾಲೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪದವಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಿಗೆ ಲ್ಯಾಪ್‌ಟಾಪ್, ಗಣಕಯಂತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
