In the interest of giving an educational boost to the children, learning materials have been provided at a cost of Rs. 60 lakhs. Every year, 20,000 student manuals for SSLC are distributed to students as an exam supplement. An examination manual named “Kashyap” is issued to all class 10 students of schools under the Lok Sabha constituency every year to prepare for the examination. Additionally, 10,000 competitive examination preparation books have been made available in government libraries to facilitate competitive examinations.

ಎಸ್.ಎಸ್.ಎಲ್.ಸಿ. ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಉತ್ತೇಜನ ನೀಡುವ ಹಿತದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ೬೦ ಲಕ್ಷ ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲಿಕಾ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷ ಎಸ್.ಎಸ್.ಎಲ್.ಸಿ. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾ ಪೂರಕವಾಗಿ ೨೦,೦೦೦ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಕೈಪಿಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಪ್ರತಿವರ್ಷ ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಎಲ್ಲ ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ಎಲ್ಲ ಹತ್ತನೇ ತರಗತಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ತಯಾರಾಗಲು “ಕಶ್ಯಪ್” ಎಂಬ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾ ಕೈಪಿಡಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ, ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಾತ್ಮಕ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ೧೦,೦೦೦ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಾತ್ಮಕ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾ ತಯಾರಿ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಲಭ್ಯವಿರುವಂತೆ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ.
