It is indeed heartening to note that our Dharwad parliamentary constituency is a step ahead of others in promoting environmental cleanliness and air purity. The development of basic facilities in government schools has been progressing rapidly. Under the Swachh Bharat Mission, the construction of toilets has been underway in every village. Similarly, in line with this initiative, toilet facilities have been provided at 282 centers in government schools and colleges across our Dharwad Parliamentary Constituency. This has been made possible through the cooperation of several companies, with an expenditure of Rs. 8.89 Crore, for the benefit of the children.

Mahatma Gandhiji had a dream of Swachh Bharat the sapling of which having watered; been fostered into a fully grown plant by Modi’s Central Govt. As a result, the environment is prevailing all over the country.

ಆಧುನಿಕ ಶೌಚಾಲಯಗಳ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ

ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆ ಮತ್ತು ನೈರ್ಮಲ್ಯದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಧಾರವಾಡ ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಒಂದು ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಮುಂದಿಟ್ಟಿರುವುದು ಸಂತಸದ ಸಂಗತಿ. ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಈಗ ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯಗಳ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳು ಶರವೇಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಹಳ್ಳಿ ಹಳ್ಳಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಚ್ಚ ಭಾರತ ಅಭಿಯಾನದಡಿ ಶೌಚಾಲಯಗಳ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗಿವೆ. ಅದರಂತೆ ಧಾರವಾಡ ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲಾ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಹ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳ ಸಹಯೋಗ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಕಾರದೊಂದಿಗೆ ೮.೮೯ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ೨೮೨ ಆಧುನಿಕ ಶೌಚಾಲಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಬಳಕೆಗೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಮಹಾತ್ಮಾ ಗಾಂಧಿಜೀ ಕಂಡ ಸ್ವಚ್ಚತೆಯ ಕನಸಿಗೆ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿಜೀಯವರ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ನೀರೆರೆದು ಪೋಷಿಸಿದೆ.

ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಈಗ ಎಲ್ಲಡೆ ಸ್ವಚ್ಚ ಪರಿಸರ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
