1990s

Entry into Public & Political Life

Shri Pralhad Joshi began his political journey through grassroots activism and organizational work with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). His dedication towards social causes and nationalist movements earned him recognition as a committed young leader in Karnataka.

Shri Joshi was appointed President of BJP Dharwad District, where he focused on strengthening the party organization at the district level and expanding BJP’s presence across the region.

As General Secretary, he played a strategic organizational role and became known for his disciplined leadership and effective coordination among party workers.

2004

Elected to 14th Lok Sabha (First Term)

Shri Joshi was elected as Member of Parliament from the Dharwad constituency in Karnataka for the first time. His victory marked the beginning of a long and impactful parliamentary career.
